ABN AMRO Hypotheken Groep14/06/2016
ABN AMRO processes 25 percent of all Dutch mortgage applications each year and is the third largest mortgage provider in the Netherlands.
ABN AMRO has centralised all its mortgage approval activities in a national service centre. The moment a customer signs the mortgage offer, ABN AMRO Hypotheken Groep in Amersfoort comes into the picture. This group handles the approval process on behalf of the bank and approves the mortgage, after which the customer can go to the civil-law notary to arrange the actual purchase of the home. Part of this process involves collecting all the documents the customer is required to provide.
These documents arrive through various channels, in the post from the regional offices or in digital form as an email attachment or a file uploaded in a portal. All documents are digitised on arrival and filed in a customer case. ABN AMRO has a paperless office policy, so everything is digitised. Hyarchis first makes sure that the case is complete before assessing the documents and carrying out a cross-check. Final approval is given once it has been established that all the information in the documents corresponds with the customer’s statement. ABN AMRO Hypotheken Groep has been working with Hyarchis ECM since 2003 and, to make the entire process truly paperless, Hyarchis Document Centric Workflow was added in 2008.
